A Photo Story from Lonavala

#Photostory

Photo story’s are my favorite part of any vacation. Capturing images is the most exciting part of travelling for me. I don’t want to travel and then forget everything. Sometimes I want to relieve those moments. Therefore, I need to and have to take good pictures of my travelled destination. I immediately feel connected and happy whenever I come across these images. We all have our own ways of rejoicing it and this is how I do it. Moreover, I like to explore places in Order. my most preferred areas are “MOUNTAINS” but I also love Sea, culture and Nature.

Post Covid-19 this is the first time we stayed over a weekend. Before this I was hysteric about staying in hotels and travelling. However, this trip was a sudden plan since it was only 1 hour 35 minutes drive from Mumbai. Frankly, Lonavala was very refreshing after all this madness. Two days of pure nature and bliss makes a perfect weekend. Lonavala is well known for its lush green peaks. Surrounded by hills, lakes and waterfalls, Lonavala turns into a perfect monsoon heaven in rainy season. However, this place is famous for one more thing, a candy known as “Chikki”.

Beautiful Lonavala

The pictures definitely justify why this place is called the jewel of Shayadri. Lonavala is a beautiful hill station that has many things to offer. Innumerable historical sites, religious attractions, natural wonders, stunning waterfalls and scenic lakes are to mention a few. Moreover, the cool climate throughout the year makes it a perfect gateway. Monsoon months are ideal to visit Lonavala, to witness the amazing waterfalls in full flow. However, the place remains pleasant and cool the whole year around. Khandala and Lonavala both are adjacent places and both are rich in terms of scenic beauty. This photo story from Lonavala is definitely not the end of my expedition, next time will explore the magnificent caves and forts of this mesmerizing hill station. Till then enjoy the virtual tour and keep reading.
